As part of this year’s Palestinian film festival in conjunction with Otley Film Society at Otley Courthouse there will be a showing of our film Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers followed by a Q and A with members from the tour.
On Friday the 12th August from 4pm-8pm there will be a football fundraising frenzy at Calthorpe Project, located at258 – 274 Grays Inn Road WC1X 8LH. The event is to raise funds to bring a girls football team from Palestine to meet British girls, play football and have fun together.
There will be a cafe, prizes, games and a raffle, plus a screening of Balls Barriers and Bulldozers.

Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers will be screened at the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness as part of the Inverness Palestinian Film Festival on the 14th of August at 7:15pm. It will be followed by a discussion.
Milton Keynes Palestine Solidarity Campaign are hosting a film screening of Balls Barriers and Bulldozers on Tuesday 2nd of August at Centrecom*, Central Milton Keynes. Doors open at 7:10pm for a 7:30pm start. There will be a Q and A with one of the football tour members after the showing.

It’s free admission with free refreshments on arrival and at the interval. There will also be stalls selling books, Palestinian foodstuffs and FairTrade crafts.

Curzon Community Cinema will be hosting a screening followed by Q and A from members of the Easton Cowgirls on Monday the 4th April at 8:10pm.

Frome Town Ladies have invited the Easton Cowgirls to Frome Town Football Club to watch their match against the Downend Flyers LFC on Sunday 6th March. The match begins at 2pm and it will be followed by a screening of “Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers: A journey into women’s football in Palestine”. The film will start at 4.30 followed by a Q&A with the Eastern Cowgirls. People are welcome to come to the whole event, or just the film and discussion. Admission is free but donations are welcome and will go to the Hebron International Relief Network. The event is being facilitated by the Frome Friends of Palestine who will be offering refreshments.
As part of Football Unites Racism Divides International Women’s day celebrations on Saturday the 5th March there will be a screening with members of the tour at the U-Mix Centre Sheffield. This will take place after the female football festival taking place on the same day.

Hackney Palestine Solidarity Campaign will be showing the film as part of their monthly Catastrophe Club that host talks and films. It will be shown along side the ‘Beautiful Resistance’ a film about the work of Al-Rowwad Centre where children and young people are helped to discover creative ways to bring about change through theatre, dance music and art.
